Downtown boutique resort lands bagel company

Bagelshop will open in mid-March inside downtown’s Fairlane Lodge.

The enterprise will acquire the room earlier employed by Mile Stop Delicatessen at 401 Union St.

Write-up sister publication Nashville Scene stories Bagelshop has been in procedure about 13 months, generating its boiled bagels at Citizen Kitchens in East Nashville and provides to a variety of venues about city. 

“We strike our max capacity,” Max Palmer (who co-owns the business with spouse Kayla) advised the Scene. “In some cases we were being ready on the mixer and were being only capable to develop a certain amount.”

The Fairlane space from which Bagelshop will run has observed many food suppliers, starting up with the aforementioned Mile Close Delicatessen. Cheese Gal took more than the previous Union Teller coffee store place (exterior entrance on Fourth Avenue North), and now Bagelshop will be in the outdated Mile Conclusion area (exterior entrance on Union Avenue) and will be the only coffee-and-breakfast purveyor at the lodge.

Ellington’s Restaurant, situated on the hotel’s fourth floor, serves satisfied hour and dinner. The two Cheese Gal and Bagelshop can be accessed from the foyer, too.
