AfriSam empowers local entrepreneurs | Roodepoort Record

 

AfriSam (a supplier of building supplies) presented totally free business capabilities education to 24 local business owners. Their graduation ceremony was held on Friday, 28 June at the AfriSam Small business Improvement Centre.

As element of the company’s Enterprise Advancement Programme, the graduates effectively done a 4-months small business techniques programme designed to aid entrepreneur and small business proprietors close to its Roodepoort and Eikenhof operations in Gauteng.

In accordance Jabu, AfriSam’s Company and Supplier Growth Programme identifies, empowers and enhances the capacities of black-owned SMMEs that run in near proximity to the company’s functions. Another essential intention of the programme is to provide the business people with the necessary support and acquire them to grow their organizations and in the end be bundled in AfriSam’s database of registered vendors.

AfriSam picked 24 black SMMEs from communities shut to its Eikenhof and Roodepoort operations for the instruction programme. The entrepreneurs ended up from different industries ranging from catering, building and house advancement.”The education was really effective to me mainly because it included a range of subject areas these as starting off a company and keeping it, as well as managing the finances. I have also learnt how to do my company profile. I will be able to go back again to my neighborhood and hire the unemployed youth,” said Bram Fischerville entrepreneur, Peter Molete. The corporation will also be helping 5 of the graduating SMMEs with office area for involving 12 and 36 months at its Enterprise Enhancement Centre.
