Several new hotel Amex Offers now available, including Four Seasons and Hilton

If you have a hotel stay coming up over the next few months and hold an American Express card, listen up: You may be able to save some serious cash on your next trip. Many American Express cardholders have reported they’ve been targeted for even more deep discounts at major hotel chains through the Amex Offers program.

That said, it’s important to note that the coronavirus pandemic continues across the U.S. and much of the world, and many states and countries continue to impose travel restrictions. However, most hotel chains offer flexible change and cancellation policies for new reservations — so there’s little risk of booking a stay that falls during the offer periods below. Just be aware of the risk that you may need to cancel the trip as it approaches.

Let’s take a look at the current offers across various Amex cards.

Four Seasons

I found two new Four Seasons offers on several Amex cards, one for cash back and one points offer.

The first offer is for a whopping 15,000 Amex points (worth $300, according to our valuations) after spending $750 or more at a Four Seasons hotel through Dec. 31, 2020. I found this offer on my American Express® Green Card.

The second offer is for a $150 statement credit after spending $750 or more, which I spotted on my Platinum Card® from American Express and American Express® Gold Card.

Meeting the terms of either Amex Offer should be fairly easy, as Four Seasons hotels can be on the pricey side. For instance, a one-night stay at the Four Seasons Hualalai resort in Hawaii for January 2021 dates start at nearly $1,200 a night, which more than meets the terms of the offer.

Note that the offers are only valid at properties (which includes Four Seasons Private Retreats) in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica, Anguilla and Saint Kitts and Nevis. Offer also available at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts properties in the same locations, plus the Bahamas. Reservations must be made online or in-person and exclude gift cards purchased online.

Hilton

There’s a plethora of new Amex Offers across multiple brands under the Hilton Honors umbrella, all of which were found on my Platinum Card® from American Express. Let’s dive in.

Hampton by Hilton & Hilton Garden Inn

Here’s a nice offer for a $50 statement credit after spending a minimum of $175 at Hampton and Hilton Garden Inn hotels. Note that this offer only includes hotels in the U.S. and U.S. territories and excludes all other Hilton brands. Hampton and Hilton Garden Inn properties are some of the cheapest in the Hilton portfolio, but with a $175 spending requirement, it shouldn’t be too hard to hit the spending requirement.

Waldorf Astoria & Conrad

You can get a $125 statement credit after spending $500 or more at Waldorf Astoria and Conrad properties in the U.S. and U.S. territories from now through the end of the year. These are some of the nicest hotels in the Hilton portfolio, which means you can save big on stays like the Conrad Miami or the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills.

Note that this offer was also available for TPG Senior Editor Nick Ewen’s Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card — which could be a great option if you still have money left on the card’s $250 Hilton resort credit.

The new offers join previously-announced ones from earlier in the year. I was pleased to discover an offer for a $150 statement credit after spending $800 or more from now through Dec. 7, 2020, on The Platinum Card® from American Express.  Several TPG staffers received the same offer on their Platinum cards, including Editorial Director Scott Mayerowitz, Global News Editor Emily McNutt and Senior Writer Andrew Kunesh.

If you’re familiar with the FHR program, you’ll know it shouldn’t be too difficult to meet the spending requirement. Top-tier FHR hotels can easily top $500 a night, such as the Four Seasons Beverly Hills, but you can still score cheaper deals under $250 a night if you want to extend your stay. Note that the offer applies only to prepaid bookings and excludes The Hotel Collection properties and properties eligible for Lowest Hotel Rates Guarantee.

The Platinum Card® from American Express and The Business Platinum Card® from American Express cardholders have access to the American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts (FHR) program. The FHR program can add serious perks and benefits to your hotel stays, like resort credits, and may not cost much more than booking direct.

Radisson

I also saw a nice offer for Radisson on my Amex Platinum for a $20 statement credit after spending $100 or more through Dec. 31.

Note that the offer is valid at Radisson, Radisson Blu, Radisson RED, Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Park Inn by Radisson, Park Plaza, and any additional Radisson Hotels branded properties present in the U.S. and U.S. territories. All international destinations are excluded.

Hyatt

We also see a sweet new offer from Hyatt. You’ll get $50 back after spending $250 or more from now through Nov. 10, 2020. TPG’s Summer Hull saw the offer on the Amex EveryDay® Preferred Credit Card from American Express.

I spotted a new InterContinental offer for $60 back after spending $300 or more on my Amex Green. TPG’s Nick Ewen saw the same offer on various cards, including his Platinum Card® from American Express, American Express® Gold Card and The Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express.

Note that this offer is only valid for stays in the U.S and excludes all other IHG brands. The offer expires on New Year’s Eve.

Kimpton

Like the offer above, there’s also a Kimpton offer for $40 back after spending $200 or more from now through the end of the year. I also saw this offer on my American Express® Green Card, while Ewen spotted it on several cards. Like the InterContinental offer above, it’s only valid at Kimpton hotels in the U.S. and excludes all other IHG brands.

Hotel Indigo

Finally, we have another IHG offer, this time from Hotel Indigo. Like the Kimpton offer, it’s for $40 back after spending $200 or more from now until the end of the year. Like the offers above, it’s valid for U.S. stays and excludes all other IHG brands. I saw this offer on my Amex Green card.
